Who supplies the custom design artwork?
The customer may supply the artwork or 1st Class Silkscreening may create the artwork. If the customer supplies the artwork, the artwork should be provided via disk or email. All camera ready art shall be in either .EPS, .AI, .CDR, .TIFF (1 color only), or document format. All text must be converted to outline or curves prior to submitting the text to 1st Class Silkscreening. Whenever possible please submit the vector files, preferably CorelDraw files.
If 1st Class Silkscreening creates the artwork, or must provide additional typesetting touch-ups or customer-requested changes to customer supplied artwork, or must modify the customer supplied artwork to satisfy its specifications (i.e., design clarity, font, format, etc.), an additional charge for such artwork services will be billed at $60.00 per hour, prorated at 15 minute intervals. The minimum billing time and amount for artwork services performed by 1st Class Silkscreening is 15 minutes at $15.00.
We reserve the right to reject any
artwork deemed unprintable as determined solely by
1st Class Silkscreening.
EMBROIDERY
Who supplies the custom design artwork?
The customer may supply the artwork or 1st Class Silkscreening may create the artwork. If the customer supplies the artwork, the artwork should be provided via disk or e-mail in the acceptable formats of Tajima, Exp, Cnd or dos.
If 1st Class Silkscreening creates the artwork or provides any modification to the customer supplied artwork. including any modifications to satisfy its specifications (i.e., design clarity, font. Format, etc.), and additional charge for such artwork services will be billed at $60.00 per hour, prorated at 15 minute intervals. The minimum billing time and amount for artwork services performed by 1st Class Silkscreening is 15 minutes at $5.00.
We reserve the right to reject any artwork deemed unprintable as determined solely by 1st Class Silkscreening.
Can the layout of customer supplied artwork be changed once the design has been submitted to 1st Class Silkscreening?
Yes, basic changes to the design layout can be made (i.e., deletion or addition of a section, reordering a section, resizing the design a maximum 10% up or down.) If the design is resized greater than 10%, up or down, a new disk will be required to reflect the resized design as well as the respective increased or decreased thickness of the specific sections.
Please note that customer supplied artwork disk created for specific products or fabrics may not be compatible with other products or fabric, and may require additional disk (i.e., disk created for hats may not sew well on polo shirts).
